Rebirth stands as companion and culmination to the Trips collection. It is a photographic representation my surrender.

The process of creating the Trips collection was alchemical. To round it up and emerge anew, a ritual had to be performed. Being a Pisces, I chose to have the ceremony of my new birth in water.

The water cleansed, dissolved, and freed me.

Just like water, I became boundless.

The paintings, archives of my memories and experiences, I surrendered to the water to be transformed.

My body became a vessel and anchor, grounding all of me in all of space and all of time.

Like water, fluid and shapeshifting, I can be anything.

All boundaries dissolved.

I continue to die and resurrect.

I will continue to die and resurrect.

Rebirth.
