Rebirth stands as companion and culmination to the Trips collection. It is visual meditation on the sacred act of letting go and emerging anew. Shot in water, the photoseries captures the alchemical transmutation that occurred through the ritualistic process of creating the Trips collection.

The water becomes a medium and metaphor—a primordial space of dissolution and renewal.

The paintings, once static objects, become activated through submersion in the water. Their essences become purified.

My body, a vessel and anchor, grounding the paintings in physical reality while surrendering to the transformative, shapeshifting power of the water.

The art and the artist become fluid, all boundaries dissolved.

A continuous death and resurrection.
