Completed over three and a half months, this work represents a period of existential reassessment and realignment.

It holds my reasons for leaving, for saying no, for letting go.

It gave me time and space to reconcile my life's aspirations with what I surrounded myself with.

I started to see myself.

All of me.

Every brush stroke was one more step in the painful but necessary process of releasing incongruent relationships and patterns.

Of releasing the fears of others masquerading as love and concern.

A mirror and manifesto, a visual affirmation that dreams exist beyond the boundaries of doubt and that intuitive wisdom must prevail over fear.

I no longer needed words to say anything.

The painting continues to tell my side of the story.
